Preparation for a new mission to Rwanda in February

Today we met online to share together the activities that will be carried out in Rwanda by the European delegation in the framework of EnRHEd missions. This mission will take place from January 27th 2022 to February 18th 2022 and will involve some teaching staff and students from the University of Parma (UNIPR) and University of Liege (ULIEGE).

Participating in the “adventure” will be:

–>Prof Valentino (UNIPR), EnRHEd project coordinator, who will give an intensive engineering training to INES students and will take the opportunity to visit the other partner institutions of the project and meet local project managers;

–>Prof Barbanti (UNIPR), who will move among the various institutions to hold some workshops on Food Science and Technology (FST domain) and to agree on the activation of the new FST curricula;

–>Prof Fabbri (UNIPR), who will give an intensive training to UTAB students and lecturers, focusing on FST domain ;

–>Prof Billen, who will visit the different institutions involved in the EnRHEd project to organize the Summer school which will held at the University of Liège in September 2022 and will last one month: mainly 12 Rwandan lecturers working in the field of civil engineering and geomatics will be invited;

–>3 students from UNIPR who will go to do their thesis research period in Rwanda thanks to the relationships established with local institutions as a result of EnRHEd.

In short, EnRHEd has no intention to stop and, after the mobility in Italy at the end of 2021, the team is even more excited to continue the activities of the project. We will keep you updated, don’t forget to follow us on social networks to be always updated!!!
