The Ambassador of the European Union in Rwanda, Nicola Bellomo, invited the delegation from the University of Parma to be informed about the latest developments of the EnRHEd project and future cooperation perspectives.

He was very happy to see the progress made so far, recalling with pleasure the start of the project in February 2020. He observed how the main objectives of the Erasmus+ programme, and specifically those of the EnRHEd Project, are perfectly in line with the political actions carried out by the EU Embassy in Rwanda. In particular, the training of human capital is of fundamental importance for the development of the Country.

He also gave some interesting and useful information on local culture and politics from a more general and broader point of view, such as that of a foreign ambassador. Amb. Bellomo also encouraged to continue the cooperation with the Rwandan Higher Education Institutions, by submitting further Capacity Building projects proposals.
