Students travelling for Masters in Italy
Just today, the University of Parma will welcome 10 Rwandan students who have come to Italy to attend university Masters courses in the fields of Communication and Civil Engineering as well as Food Safety and Food Risk Management.
The students will benefit from funds allocated by the EnRHEd project for an initial study period in Italy, in which they will take part in project activities together with their Italian colleagues.
Following this first period, the 10 students will be able to continue their Master’s studies in Italy thanks to regional scholarships (ER.GO Emilia-Romagna) and the financial resources allocated by the Rwandan HEIs they belong to, as well as thanks to the organisation of bilateral Europe-Rwanda activities within the EnRHEd project.
Once the Master’s course is completed, the students will be able to return to Rwanda with a suitable qualification to work in the field, teach at a high level at the HEIs they belong to, and assist their EnRHEd colleagues in the post-project phase, i.e. in deepening and keeping alive the various skills acquired thanks to the Capacity Building established by EnRHEd.
Happy studying guys!
