Our Summer School organised by the Rwanda Polytechnic – College of Musanze (IPRC-Musanze) from 11 to 17 July and entitled “Landslides and Slope Stability Analysis in Rwanda”, also lands on international journals.

The journal “Acque Sotterranee – Italian Journal of Groundwater“, one of the oldest European journals dealing with groundwater, has in fact published in Volume 11 – No. 3 (2022) the contribution “High-level training on the topic of landslides and slope stability in Rwanda“, the latter edited by Emma Petrella, Alessandro Chelli and Roberto Valentino.

We propose below the abstract of the article and invite you to take a look at this interesting publication directly on the Acque sotteranee website at the following link: https://acquesotterranee.net/acque/article/view/589

One of trickiest issues in Rwanda has always been linked to hydrogeological risk. To make the scenario even more complicated, it is the lack of integrated knowledge of different disciplines that are related to landslide phenomena. In this context, the Erasmus+ EnRHEd project has organized a Summer School entitled “Landslides and Slope Stability Analysis in Rwanda” addressed to Civil Engineers and Geologists, as well as Technicians and Teachers.
